The Lake Placid Volunteer Ambulance Service is a private, non for profit, Emergency Medical Service established in 1976 to provide Emergency Medical Care to the citizens of Lake Placid. Our current operating area includes the Town of North Elba and the Village of Lake Placid. In addition providing Advanced Life Support when requested to Wilmington, Keene and the Ausable Forks area.
