Lakes Area Real Estate. Is the market beginning to recover? Friday, April 17, 2009. You have likely seen news reports recently stating that sales are up and prices are down. It appears buyers are taking advantage of the low prices seen on many properties. Here in the Lakes Area, we are seeing that on a smaller scale. Lakes Area Real Estate. Is the market beginning to recover? Tuesday, July 14, 2009. We are getting some much needed rain in the Lakes Area today! It has been pouring rain for an hour or more. It also appears the market is finally listening to me and my posts! Activity is up and contracts seem to be following. I just read that metro home sales we up 33% in June. Lakes Area Real Estate. Is the market beginning to recover? Wednesday, July 29, 2009. I have read recently that several economists are saying the recession is ending and will be done by 4 th. Quarter, 2009. That is SOON! Lets hope they are correct. In the local Real Estate market, we are seeing a good amount of new activity.
