Lakeview 8th Grade Science. Thursday, May 6, 2010. Catapult Construction.Come Join Us! As many of you already know, we are in the process of building catapults in science. A catapult system is a great device to teach Physics concepts through. We are currently discussing the transfer of energy, force, elasticity, and Newtons Laws.all of which are NECESSARY principles to explain how and why a catapult works. Lakeview 8th Grade Science: Syllabus Change
http://lakeviewscience8.blogspot.com/2010/04/syllabus-change.html
Lakeview 8th Grade Science. Thursday, April 8, 2010. I apologize for not having a syllabus up for this week. Due to some technical difficulties with our Roller Coaster Physics software, I had to switch our lesson plans a little. This week, we started Chapter 7 and will take an "Open Book" Quiz on Chapter 7, Friday, April 9th. I did receive the new software, so as soon as we can get back into the computer lab, we will begin the Roller Coaster Project! I hope everyone had a fantastic spring break!
