Friday, January 30, 2009. Kendra mentioned that she loves to hear Lucy stories, So I thought I would tell today's Lucy story. (Well, one of them, anyway.). I really don't know anything about furnaces, but apparently ours has an on/off switch right on it. Lucy found this out when she was helping Shawn change the furnace filter a few days ago. Wednesday, September 17, 2008. So- I'm keeping a tally of how much Shawn works this week. The way I calculate it is hours away from home- so that does include several hours of driving. Monday: 6:00am-6:00pm (12 hours). Wednesday: 7:00am-7:00pm (12 hours). Thursday: 12:00pm-8:00pm (8 hours) We had a nice morning this day. Or maybe what I mean is openness, because I can't really think of anyone that I know who is particularly dishonest, but it seems like real openness is rare in a church setting, even though it seems like church should be where we feel comfortable enough to be completely open. It’s a sensible thing, and as someone who has spent what feels like an eternity in the beginning phase, it’s the truth. My taste is dramatically more advanced than my ability to write a story.
