http://kansasgrandmaw.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 22, 2014. Goodness - it is February already! Well I have been awful about posting and could do a whole big blog post with excuses but none are very good so will skip it. Soon I will catch everyone up on my knitting and other activities but now need to get ready to go party with some excited birthday girls. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Hand of Destiny. GrandmaW: June 2013
http://kansasgrandmaw.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 17, 2013. Summer has arrived in Kansas - we are getting some hot and humid weather and very thankful for air conditioning. We have already had one 100 degree day but watching the weather in Arizona I won't complain - they have really been hit hard with the high temperatures. Another day Laura and the girls and I went to Botanica. The girls always love Botanica and Laura does too. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). The Hand of Destiny. GrandmaW: August 2013
http://kansasgrandmaw.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 13, 2013. Ok - where did summer go? Can't believe school starts tomorrow. Has it been a busy summer? Hmm, well just a tad for me anyway. Spent six weeks traveling to Alaska with my brother and his wife! We came back on Sunday, changed clothes and met Jimmy's family at Century II for Music Theater of Wichita's presentation of Mary Poppins. Oh My Goodness! After the play we took them home and they spent the night. This week I am babysitting the girls again and they plan to start first grade...

GrandmaW: February
http://kansasgrandmaw.blogspot.com/2015/02/february.html
Saturday, February 28, 2015. If I get this typed today I will still have a post each month in 2015! We have had a fun year so far. Spent three weeks in Mesa in January which once again was so nice. Love being able to sit outside my brother's house and eat oranges off his orange tree! I don't know why this came out in this direction - it isn't this way on my desktop. Top hat is Izzy's, middle is Lily's and the bottom one is Audrey's. They picked out the yarn. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

GrandmaW: October 2013
http://kansasgrandmaw.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 31, 2013. Hard to see the kitchen but there is a lot of counter and drawer space. The white chair may go - but may stay. Will decide as we use it. This pantry will be so great! Clothes closet and drawers next to sink and additional small closet by bed. Monday, October 28, 2013. Still cross stitching but not as much as before I learned to knit but a lot more than before I retired. It is so nice to be retired and have my daytime hours free to cross stitch. The project I am working...Anoth...

GrandmaW: April 2015
http://kansasgrandmaw.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 28, 2015. Making progress on the unfinished list. I am working hard on my long list of unfinished projects. Of course that means I bought yarn to make more projects. LOL When I die there will be a bunch of yarn at the estate sale! I put each group of yarn in a knee high hose and that has helped immensely. The heels and toes do not count so they are knitted in yellow yarn. It feels strange to only do one or two rows at a time but that also has helped with the yarns tangling. Friday, April 3...

GrandmaW: Pi Day
http://kansasgrandmaw.blogspot.com/2015/03/pi-day.html
Saturday, March 14, 2015. But I have miles to do before I am finished. In other craft news I started a Tunisian crochet sweater for myself and decided I needed to practice this technique before I went very far into the sweater so I found some bulky brown yarn and made two small rugs for the bathroom. There was no pattern - just Tunisian (afghan stitch) with the brown and a double crochet edge with the multicolored yarn. Was good practice and we needed the rugs anyway. GrandmaW: January 2015
http://kansasgrandmaw.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 1, 2015. So on January 1st I like to do resolutions that I probably won't keep but this year I hope to update this blog more often. Of course if I do it twice in 2015 I think I will be successful as I don't think I posted but once last year. I would love to say I am sooooooooo busy but I am not and if you know me you know that is true. The girls really liked it and before the race we toured the newly refurbished capitol building which is beautiful. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Saturday, April 4, 2015. I was proud of this bottom picture with the cardinal behind the flowers. I am sure it could be better but thought it was pretty good. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
