Imaginary Lines: 12/01/2004 - 01/01/2005

Raising my son, waiting for the new baby, and trying to be happily married, all while maintaining a healthy sense of self. Yeah, right. Wednesday, December 29, 2004. I have been too sick and too in a fog to blog. Christmas Day was awful. It was the worst day yet. We managed to get to my in-laws a few hours late, where I immediately went to the upstairs bathroom to throw up and cry. This is the worst part. I know it will be crazy and difficult after the new baby is born, but nothing compares to this.

Pazel: 5 Things
http://pazel.blogspot.com/2006/01/5-things.html
Parenthood post-infertility, and other thoughts that keep me up at night. Tuesday, January 17, 2006. I apologize for the spotty posts. Unforgivable really. In return I offer to you these pictures of me and mine as a token of my affection. Http:/ www.flickr.com/photos/pazel/. First I'll finish the hospital story. Second I'll tell you how great he's doing. Third is how we're all normalizing. And now we're going to be pretty normal. Boring normal. I think it's refreshing. Posted by Pazel at 1:31 AM. Thanks ...

Imaginary Lines: No Surrender
http://theimaginarylines.blogspot.com/2005/06/no-surrender.html
Raising my son, waiting for the new baby, and trying to be happily married, all while maintaining a healthy sense of self. Yeah, right. Wednesday, June 29, 2005. So, you want to hire a nanny? Was my husband's response. But God knows there is no way that's going to happen. That's for people with much more money than we will ever have. Having children can bring out the very best in you. Funny thing is, it can also bring out your very worst. And in one single day you might have to witness both of th...On th...

Divorce, false allegations of abuse, mental illness and a great son. It's a life-changing mix. If it's your first time, do yourself a favor and at least read the first few archives. It'll make a lot more sense. Monday, May 30, 2005. Another Day, Another Antic. Today was another banner day in terms of dealing with the STBX. Due to a wedding I agreed to switch days and see my son today. I don’t have a problem switching days, especially for this kind of reason. Sooner or later I’ll need to switch myself.

Imaginary Lines: She Hits the 36 Week Point
http://theimaginarylines.blogspot.com/2005/07/she-hits-36-week-point.html
Raising my son, waiting for the new baby, and trying to be happily married, all while maintaining a healthy sense of self. Yeah, right. Friday, July 08, 2005. She Hits the 36 Week Point. Tomorrow, that is. We have an ultrasound on Tuesday to see how big the little guy is, and then they'll check my cervix on Friday to see what kind of shape it's in. Yay. My sister was 3 centimeters dilated with her last baby for 4 weeks. They finally got things rolling by breaking her water. The only other feeling I have ...

Raising my son, waiting for the new baby, and trying to be happily married, all while maintaining a healthy sense of self. Yeah, right. Monday, January 31, 2005. I deleted my last post. Afterall, there's only so long you can look at a whiny post about someone who you do, afterall, love. So, it's gone. I feel better already. I'm 13 weeks and 2 days pregnant! I still feel pretty awful, but I told Thomas I would take him out today since it's actually above freezing. So maybe we'll try to go out for lunch.

Knocked Up. Then Knocked Down. Former Super Model, Mother to Boy-Genius, and Married to One of the 50 Sexiest Men Alive, just trying to live a normal life in spite of being beaten to the mat by Secondary Infertility. I mean, think of the pressure to outperform yourself the next time if you were considered the Wonderful now! Along comes g...

Raising my son, waiting for the new baby, and trying to be happily married, all while maintaining a healthy sense of self. Yeah, right. Tuesday, July 19, 2005. Don't you love it when you call your doctor's office to ask the nurse about your swollen hands and feet and before you can get more than 4 words out of your mouth she says, "Don't worry about it, it'll be gone by tonight.". I really hope I'm not in for 3 more weeks of this. You can come out now baby! Posted by ErinMary @ 3:55 PM. Http:/ onlinecasi...

There's a new redhead in town! I was right with that last post and went into labor very early the next morning. He called his mom to come over and watch Thomas, and I was telling her to take her time, no rush. Thank God she didn't listen to me! I was in labor for 12 hours with Thomas! They got me in the room and tr...
