Username or e-mail *. Always speak the word along with the Lámh sign. Use appropriate facial expression and body language to emphasise what you want to communicate. Make the sign accurately at all times. Face the person and make sure you have their attention. Always use your dominant hand. Don’t hold things in your hands when signing. Make signs within the 'signing space' - (usually this means from the waist outwards and includes face and shoulders). Don't cover your mouth when signing!

Official Down Syndrome Dublin Parent and Toddler Group. Following on from Ava's Mum's. The Carmelite centre have stated this is a trial for them too so depending on how we get on Mon 6th of July they will confirm if we can continue to Sept. Today (10/03/08), our little boy was born. A few hours later, he was whisked away to Crumlin Children's hospital where he was diagnosed with having a couple of major heart conditions. A brand new Cathal. Today (10/03/09), Cathal was in ICU just 24 hours after having his big heart surgery, and things were looking a bit hairy. We did not know if he would make it through the night. About 4 weeks after surgery. Today (10/03/10), I am glad to report that it is Cathal's birthday.HORRAY! Again, THANK YOU. Do yo...
