Luke and I pulled up to the first house, I had to get Luke out of his car seat, so we played in the back seat for the 20 minutes until my clients came. So what did this experience teach me? When you have a car appointment, don't have any firm plans for the rest of the day. If you get out as scheduled, think of it as a half day at school, otherwise you will be looking at the clock every two minutes. Put a car charger in Luke's Diaper Bag. I always have his diaper bag now. I might as well be prepared.

Like I said before, not rocket science, but for the last 4 days, I have had jeans on, make-up done and cooked dinner. That is a major accomplishment, if I do say so myself. So how do you get out of the funk when you're home alone with just 6 week old? When I used to work in an office or a jobsite trailer, I'd go find a friend and sit in their cube or go out to lunch. I also used to go run a few miles. My options are more limited now. Workouts are scheduled around a 6 week old's attention span. Lunches with co-workers are well.What co-workers?
