Louise R. Shaw. Every May, Lamplight Art Gallery is the center of activity for Bountifuls annual chalk festival, Magic on the Sidewalk. Professional artists work just down the block from aspiring artists and families and children, creating temporary works of art to adorn the sidewalks. The festival is sponsored by the Joy Foundation, whose mission is reaching into the community and putting an artistic arm around youth who may fall through the cracks.
