Lampwork by Lori: November 2009
http://lampworkbylori.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 15, 2009. Call for Wire Jewelry Photos. I'm in the home stretch of what has turned out to be my book on wire jewelry basics. This "little" book started out as an outline for a class I want to teach at the 2010 Intergalactic and Bead Mercantile shows; however, it has taken on a life of its own and become a 70-page book chock full of all the things those books with the wire tutorials never taught you. How exciting? At least 1000 x 1000 pixels. NOT white (if possible). The more you comment,...

Lampwork by Lori: Getting Back in the Saddle
http://lampworkbylori.blogspot.com/2010/11/getting-back-in-saddle.html
Monday, November 22, 2010. Getting Back in the Saddle. This past week I made some icicles and I really liked them. I think I'll try to make more before Christmas. I've also been working on silver core boro beads for European charm bracelets (3mm sterling snake chains). You might know these by other names like "Pandora," "Troll," and "Biagi." In the meantime, here are some pictures of some recent sets. I love the colors! Have a super Thanksgiving week! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Musings, Rants, Raves and other Random Thoughts: November 2009
http://klhdesignstudio.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Musings, Rants, Raves and other Random Thoughts. Sharing the randomn things that go on in my head on any given day. Tuesday, November 17, 2009. My continuing love affair with copper. I got my hands on a bunch of copper rings and decided to offer some to members of Lampwork Etc. The only catch was they had to use the rings to create a piece or pieces of jewelry. They could use as many or as little of the rings as they wanted to. First of all, I used way too big a piece of LOS for this one bracelet. I ...

Indy Jules: October 2008
http://indyjules.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Sunday, October 19, 2008. NEW - Marquis Hollows. Sets will be up on Etsy this week as well as some etched weessels. Custom orders welcome as always. Tuesday, October 14, 2008. In Praise of Mom. No, don't panic, it's not Mother's Day. I owe a few words of praise and thanks to my own mom so I'm saying it now before I forget and because Hallmark just doesn't make a card to cover it all. Giving her a little spotlight here is the least I can do to thank her for all that she does. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Indy Jules: Bead & Button 2010
http://indyjules.blogspot.com/2010/05/bead-button-2010.html
Monday, May 31, 2010. Bead and Button 2010. The show is about a week away now and I think this picture of my studio best conveys the chaos and panic that sets in about this time. I think I have enough, I think I thought of everything and put it on the "big" list but everything is either half done or half packed; I need to start finishing something! Half of my new light bar arrived last week and has been primed and painted. The other half was supposed to be here Saturday and, well, it wasn't. I'm Julie Mi...

Monday, January 4, 2010. Wow do I ever stink at blogging! The photo above is of the back yard from last Spring. Before the new herb garden was planted around the fountain. I had an "after" picture but I can't find it. Hopefully this will remind you of what green really looks like and help tide you over until we see it again. Lisa Atchison - Touch of Glass Designs. How inviting that looks.especially right about now! You have a lovely backyard! January 6, 2010 at 3:16 PM. That was a near miss!
