We love camping at Beverly Beach because they have such cool trees all over the camp ground. These trees are called octopus trees. Pretty fun to play in, huh? The kids inside the lodge for their nature class. They attended 2 while we were there. One about the octopus trees and another about whales. They also got to make crafts. Tyson was the luckiest kid in kindergarten because he got to have both his mom and dad go with him. We rode on a hay wagon, then picked out pumpkins. Lance and Linae Smith. And Sydney, Tyson, and Carson too. Saturday, September 29, 2012. Sydney participated in a kids triathalon this morning. Here she is at registration. Getting ready for the swim with other friends, Hannah, Eric and Tayson. Lining up, it's almost time. Sydney chose the long course, which is a 100 yard swim, or 4 lengths of the pool. Check out this video. All done, running is next. The run, which Sydney did more of a run/walk, was 1.5 miles. Time for a quick drink before the bike.

Tyson wanted to go to Grandma's house for his party, so we had pizza, cake and icecream up there. He wanted an Angry bird cake, just like last year. This one looks different than last year's though. Devin, Sarah, and Kayla. Sunday, July 15, 2012. We met Connor at the Desert Springs Marriott on Easter morning for the big Easter Egg Hunt! This year the kids actually liked collecting the eggs, but they weren't fast enough! Kayla was still happy even though she only got 4 eggs. Kayla loved the little lambs in the petting zoo! And she didn't cry when we saw the Easter Bunny! When we got home, the Easter Bunny had filled Kayla's new basket with lots of treats! Posted by Sarah and Devin. Ugh, It's Hot!

Devin, Sarah, and Kayla. Sunday, July 15, 2012. Good Friday in San Diego. I get Good Friday off so we went to spend the day in beautiful San Diego. First, we had lunch in Old Town. Kayla really wanted her picture taken next to this horse inside the Wells Fargo museum. Then it was gametime. Thanks Nick for the pink Padres monkey! It was Fireworks Friday too! We had so much fun. Luckily we stayed at the Marriot right across the street from Petco Park. Then we hiked down this big cliff to get to the beach.

Thursday, March 31, 2011. Erin and Abby had some visitors at their preschool. Not your run of the mill visitors either - PONIES. I saw the ponies in the parking lot when I was dropping off the girls and so Eric and I stayed and took pictures! It was perfect, I am so glad I got to be there to see the girls as they experienced their first pony rides. Here is the smallest of them. I love the look on the girls faces. Abby looks very concerned and Erin is just plain skeptical. Look at that face. Two of my boys.

Saturday, April 11, 2015. Camden is finally starting to like preschool a little more. To celebrate thanksgiving, he came home as chief Straight Arrow one day. It was so cute! He played the part well! He also made an adorable pilgrim. Cam came home from school with a froot loop necklace one day too and couldn't wait to give it to Daddy. Lance wore it just for Cam and Cam was so proud! These boys love when Uncle Derik is home from school and comes to hang out with us too! I just love this baby though!
