The RC box was made from hardboard and couldn't take the battering it got so it split along its joints. I'm going to make a new one from plywood and I hope it doesn't break. The shock springs are way beyond any restoration and are the shocks themselves tho I shall try to get them working properly again. IMAGE MANIPULATION BY FLOATBOX. THANKS TO LANDJUMP.COM.

I have been a busy boy, angryly snapping up parts off ebay as and when I can. I have a collection of tyres and wheels which include 2 new and unused rims. I have fitted the original series 1 suspension to the rear and I have a matching front bumper. The first part to replace is the fuel tank and support I made back in 2005. They will be replaced with original Landjump parts. Well its just about to be 2012, and I've not touched the Landjump since 2008. I think the engine could be a problem, we'll see.

Produced from high quality 3mm ABS plastic these boxes offer an affordable replacement to the original. You could even use these and keep your rare original in a safe place away from harm. I have fitted my series 1 with the carbon fibre effect box. The boxes are available in 4 styles; Clear Plastic. Each box is uncut and slightly taller than the originals. They do have marks on the inside to alow you to easily align the nuts and bolts into the chassis. For photographs for each style see below.

After many emails from visitors I have discovered a few truths about the metal rims. Several people have told me that they were standard issue for the original run of the vehicle. While a chap in Germany says they were an expensive upgrade. I think that may have been the first time since I have had the machine that the front differential has come away from its housing and been opened up. Well its all cleaned and re-greased now. The Kyosho Landjump Integra was possibly the first 4WD radio control car. First produced in 1981 and made entirely from aluminum. Driven by chain the car was a monster at a scale of 1/8. The power plant was a .21 IC Nitro engine. It has differentials front and rear, trailing front suspension, semi-trailing rear suspension and a disk brake on the rear differential. Since the car was stripped and cleaned I have bought replacement parts for just about every bit. I have managed to get two sets of the fabled engine mounts, a new rear differential and brake assembly, some new chassis rails, a whole new set of bearings, a 4 shoe clutch and a ton of other bits and pieces. I still need the plastic RC gear box and some shocks. After repeated tries at getting the engine, clutch and drive gear to align correctly I finally got it all to sit together. With the rear trailing...
