Monday, July 27, 2009. Back in Full Force. Bridgemen Band Camp started last Monday. The kids are fantastic. So respectful and polite. Did I mention there's 380 of them? And counting. The show is really fun and is sure to be a crowd pleaser with the title "Thirty Years of Building a Bridge." Bringin back all the ol' favorites with some really cool visual effects. (as if you care). Thursday, November 5, 2009. A visit from the Gav-ster. Buddy from high school and college came to visit this week. She brought with her a cute little peanut named Gavin. We had so much fun, but the visit was way too short. We miss you guys already! Monday, November 2, 2009. Oh, how much fun we had Saturday! Some friends came over for a nice afternoon grill out. Thursday, August 19, 2010. 2010 Family Beach Trip {Part 1}. Every year {since I can remember}, my mom has taken us to the beach. This hasn't changed even in the years since getting married and having babies! Mom is so sweet to spoil us each year with this trip and help us make some of my most favorite memories! This July we went back to Santa Rosa Beach! There was NO OIL on the beach! Lots of oil workers walking around picking up garbage but no oil! What a great surprise! Family Photo - Best We Could Get.

Friday, July 24, 2009. Sorry I have been so bad about updating. But its because I've known something since May that I couldn't share until now! We are expecting our first child on January 25 and are extremely elated. We heard the heartbeat for the first time yesterday and are on cloud nine. We will have our first ultrasound on August 17 (where we could find out the sex.but Phillip is determined not to find out). So I promise to update here more often and please keep us in your thoughts and prayers!

Monday, May 11, 2009. He's kind of a big deal! Just in case there is anyone who reads this that I'm not friends with on facebook. Phillip is kind of a big deal! I am so incredibly proud of him. Many of you know our frustrations with the way he's been shuffled around at CACC. And please keep Phillip and his team in your thoughts and prayers this week. Tuesday, August 10, 2010. Long time no see. So I am pretty much the world's worst blogger. But we have been busy with this little guy. James turned 6 months old this past Friday. He loves to blow raspberries, play piano (the toy one and our real one), stand up (when propped up by me or Phillip), knock his blocks over, grab my glasses. Saturday, September 12, 2009. A question for my mommy readers. Did you guys use crib bumpers? I am torn about it because of the safety issues. If we don't, then I'm probably just going to make a bed skirt and buy some sheets. Then once Baby Wilo.
