Rebecca’s Retreat: October 2014
http://rebeccasretreat.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
The Retreat in Progress. Sunday, October 19, 2014. It's been a while since I took out my camera and snapped a few photos of what has been going on at Rebecca's Retreat. I was inspired this morning while I was sitting on the deck drinking my coffee while cardinals and other flying friends were singing and enjoying the cool weather. What a nice place to sit and read a book by the Peggy Martin rose bush. The garden angel will look over you and make sure you don't sleep too long in that comfortable spot.

The Retreat in Progress. Sunday, March 23, 2014. Spring Cleaning - The Dirty Deck. I finally got up the motivation to start the inevitable spring cleaning around the yard. I don't like the maintenance, it is not fun, but it is necessary. Below are before and after pictures and the deck cleaner I used. Before deck cleaner. You can see where I pressure washed it and it just left streaks in the dirt. After deck cleaner and pressure washing. Made my job much easier. Links to this post. Welcome to my Retreat.

Thoughts about life, living, and gardening…. A Stuck Foot Along The Sidewalk Gardens. Tidying is the act of confronting yourself; cleaning is the act of confronting nature. But it is neither of those. This is my time to show you the Sidewalk Garden, by sticking my foot in one spot and panning around. This time though, I thought I would move around to show it from all its views. It is still a work in progress, but taking my time to carefully clear it has given me so many ideas for changes this fall which ...
