TRAVELS WITH FAITH: April 2012
http://travelswithfaith.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Cruising Mexico on S/V Faith. Saturday, April 14, 2012. Update from Puerto Escondido. All alone in San Pedro Bay. I know some of you out there are wondering what in the heck happened to me but I have a very good explanation! Faith in her "slip". Note: Anchors attempting to mate! So, where, you might ask, have we been? Well, first we went to a beautiful anchorage just 15 miles north of San Carlos called Bahia San Pedro. This was the very first place in the Sea of Cortez that Chris took me. This anchorage ...

TRAVELS WITH FAITH: September 2012
http://travelswithfaith.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
Cruising Mexico on S/V Faith. Thursday, September 20, 2012. Movies, Movies and More Movies. Today was a fairly quiet day for me. I made the beds. I baked some cookies. I did my email. I played a little Wii. I picked up a prescription. I bought a dozen eggs, a birthday card and two new pillows. Chris, on the other hand, seems to have had quite the adventure. As I said previously, yesterday I brought home 4 used movies. Well, at least he didn’t find the music section. Thursday, September 13, 2012. Since ou...

http://travelswithfaith.blogspot.com/2014/09/summer-vacation.html
Cruising Mexico on S/V Faith. Monday, September 1, 2014. Today is the first day of September! The days are getting shorter, the leaves are turning to flame and the temperatures are beginning to drop. It seems like we just arrived home and it is already time to start packing for this winter’s cruising. Family time: Sandy with sisters, Barb and Kathy and Mom. And it is definitely f-u-n! Sandy's new fun ride! Chris absorbed in a good book. There is a lot of great art on Orcas Island. Happy Anniversary to us!

TRAVELS WITH FAITH: November 2013
http://travelswithfaith.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Cruising Mexico on S/V Faith. Saturday, November 23, 2013. Borrego Springs, CA. These lovely horses greeted us as we drove into town. The beautiful mountains surrounding Borrego Springs. What a nice surprise. The road through the mountains is very narrow and winding but after riding 12,000 miles with Chris I have decided to stop worrying about how close we are to the edge and just enjoy the scenery. And beautiful the scenery is here. Scorpion and Grasshopper facing off. Golf course at the end of our row.

TRAVELS WITH FAITH: February 2014
http://travelswithfaith.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Cruising Mexico on S/V Faith. Sunday, February 9, 2014. One of the things we particularly like about being in a marina is that it gives us the opportunity to take long, hot showers in a space that is quite a bit larger than we have on the boat. Well, that is the theory anyway. In practice, however, bathrooms south of the border often leave a bit to be desired. Friday, February 7, 2014. The Maria and Isabel on our starboard side. 8221; you might say. “Weren’t you going to La Cruz? The day before leaving S...

TRAVELS WITH FAITH: December 2013
http://travelswithfaith.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Cruising Mexico on S/V Faith. Tuesday, December 3, 2013. After having been away from Mexico for 17 months I am re-learning some of the interesting differences between our two countries. I have several cruising seasons worth of learning experience but still some things surprise and delight me and others feel a bit frustrating. I thought you might be interested in a little insight into what it is like to live here. Human gate guard/manual gate. Note: It is always cheaper than in the States. Here's the tric...

TRAVELS WITH FAITH: June 2014
http://travelswithfaith.blogspot.com/2014_06_01_archive.html
Cruising Mexico on S/V Faith. Tuesday, June 24, 2014. At Long Last the Final Chapter of This Year's Trip. Wednesday, April 9th, we finally got out of La Paz! We’d actually planned to leave on Tuesday but a Norther came roaring in during the wee hours that morning and the wind howled all day. Wednesday morning dawned on a perfect day…no wind at all and flat, slack tide! The "view" from our slip. Another view from our slip. This is why we like anchorages! All alone in Caleta Partida. Ahhhhh. Our hopes of s...

Cruising Mexico on S/V Faith. Friday, June 1, 2012. Ice Cream and Flush Toilets. Two of the things I miss during the winter cruising months are ice cream and flush toilets. Certainly there are other things, but those are kind of at the top of my “whoopee” list when I get back to land. Sunset at Bahia Algodones. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. TRAVELS WITH FAITH: November 2012
http://travelswithfaith.blogspot.com/2012_11_01_archive.html
Cruising Mexico on S/V Faith. Friday, November 16, 2012. It just didn't feel right to be writing about our land cruising adventures on this blog. It is, after all, about "Faith" and all the wonderful (and sometimes not so wonderful) adventures aboard her. I'll be back here next year. Wednesday, November 14, 2012. As Far As Sacramento. Sittin' on the boardwalk in the sunshine. We have been moving very slowly on the southbound trek with our longest day involving only about. Look at the size of these wheels!
