"We're Off in a Cloud of Chicken Manure" --The Egg and I: 09 June 2015

Tuesday morning we left early for another newborn session in Chappell. A good friend of mine had her 5th baby two weeks ago. He came after two 20 weeks miscarriages. She is knitting me some cute newborn boy overalls and hats. My kids enjoyed playing with her older 4 kids. She even has a boy named Everett! The kids ate lunch perched at the bar. After lunch the kids got to roll the bowling balls until they got tired. Amelia and Everett had an especially fun time. Posted by Jenni Call. News In a Minute.

Last Days of Preschool, Well-Child Visits. The week started out with an early visit to Dr Shaw for Amelia and Everett's well-child visits. Everett lands right in the 67th Percentile for weight (38 lbs), and 53rd Percentile for height (40.5 in). He showed Dr Shaw his extreme dance moves. She determined from that awesome display that he meets all developmental milestones. Amelia remains in the bottom of the percentiles! The kids and I headed home for our own Popsicles. That is DONE. Check. News In a Minute.

Evelyn forgot to relay our early visit before she left for the gym. Evelyn is a kindred spirit who like me always loses her phone, forgets important information, and has 4 kids. We got it all figured out! We enjoyed a hour or so at the park for FHE this week riding bikes and enjoying the play area. Amelia decided riding her bike was quite a bit of fun again. She crashed her bike on Saturday and earned a couple scrapes on her knee and elbow. She now races around the block on her bike. The ...We made a tri...

Special Visit from Santa Call. We had a pretty fun, relaxed week. I am getting used to my new glasses, it's been a long time since I last had thick frames. I do like that the nose rests are missing, they feel more comfy not digging into my nose bridge. We are following a fun daily theme this summer:. Try Something New Tuesday. Justin gave the three older kids a ride on his motorcycle. That was quite a fun experience for them all. Thanks Grandpa! Posted by Jenni Call. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

We have new neighbors! Tuesday morning I photographed a tiny baby boy. He had the smallest head ever! Wednesday we all went to Phillip's ENT appointment with Dr Massey. We got there 10 minutes early at 9:50 to fill out paperwork. We were still waiting at 11 am. Can you imagine waiting at the Dr office for 70 minutes? Tessa did a wonderful job planning and preparing for the combined youth activity of water softball. Moments before the activity started a thunderstorm ripped over Sidney. We have a t...Frida...

The Country Fair (take 7). Whenever I happen to take all the kids to Walmart with me (as infrequently as possible) we always run into Sister Hermes. She calls our cart the "Party Cart! Indeed I feel like the party cart is bouncing along the aisles with flashing lights and music in the form of 4 loud and wiggling humans. It is quite amusing! We got to play basketball in their sweaty gym for 30 minutes. Inside said gym was the off-limits rock wall. Talk about frustrating! Saturday morning I had two more mi...

My favorite station with Mia was the room with minute-to-win it. I walked in to find Amelia trying to get a cookie from her forehead to her mouth. Oh the expressions on her face! Send me your ideas. Wednesday was the last full day of school. Mrs Belieu had the kids bring in blankets, pillows, and favorite stuffed animals. The kids built a huge tent fort in their classroom! The ceiling for 2nd grade is 200 WPM. I am so proud of her and all her hard work this school year. She is amazing! I now have five YW...

Wednesday the kids went with me to mutual. Sarah Wood had the girls engaged in a pedicure/manicure evening. Everett insisted on green fingernails to match his Buzz Lightyear PJs. The kids splashed around in the rain a couple time throughout the day, they put on their warmest clothes early, which happened to be PJs. It was fun. The rain was nice! Justin stayed home with Evelyn and fixed the broken hardware on her dresser. I am so glad to have a working drawer again. What did we do for Fabulous Friday?

Posted by Jenni Call. It was the Blob. Each kid earned a badge, pencil, certificate, and $5 from Diary Queen! I ended up letting him choose a more expensive toy this time for all his hard work. He was delighted! Done, he has an appointment next week. Maybe we can get more answers instead of lame declarations. Grrrrrr. Posted by Jenni Call. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
