The journey of an Edmonton woman eating her way through the city at events, festivals, restaurants, and other gatherings. Wednesday, August 12, 2015. Edmonton Folk Music Festival 2015. I attended the 2015 Edmonton Folk Music Festival. From August 6-9, and once again food was a part of my activities. I decided to stay vegetarian for most of the weekend, and started off with the ginger beef from Padamandi. I also had the combo of Pad Thai, green curry with tofu, spring rolls, and rice from Numchok Wilai.

Friday, September 26, 2008. We had a fundraising dinner this past Monday at Langano Skies. The food was great and we had 70 guests! The goal was to reach our needed support that night. We went into it at 76% and left at 100% of our support for two years in Ethiopia! We also had 12 more people join us on our prayer team! What a blessing that is! We are now booking our flights and it is looking like we will leave Alberta on November 14th! Thank you for all of your prayers and support. The End of the Summer.

In the prayer update we just sent we forgot to give you an update about the things stolen out of our car. Nothing has been recovered yet (keep praying), however Dan has had his driver’s license re-issued. We are also still working on getting Kim’s medicine purchasing license replaced, but it will be at least a month before it is accomplished and in hand. So keep praying for that too. October 27, 2011.

Lauantai 15. elokuuta 2015. Tiskirättejä ja suuria suunnitelmia. Tämmöisiäkin on joskus kesän kuluessa tullut tehtyä. Sinänsä ei mitään sen erikoisempaa kuin pari virkattua tiskirättiä, mutta ajattelin silti esitellä, kun mallivirkkaus on mielestäni aika kivan näköistä. Ohje löytyy esim. täältä. Langat on bambu- ja puuvillalankojen jämiä. Viime viikkoina olen työskennellyt parin huvin parissa, niistä toinen ei ole vielä valmis ja toista en voi vielä esitellä.
