Over one hundred participants, mentors and coaches, and a special appearance by TC, mascot for the Minnesota Twins. Monday, April 20, 2009. Meet ruby. I am so infatuated. Friday, April 17, 2009. A stationary bike kicked my. It was the first time in several weeks that I made it to Team spin last night. Such a great workout! It was a small group but everyone worked so hard, and supported each other the entire time. Everyone remembers all the time why we are doing this. Nobody hesitated at turning up the dial that extra turn. And it just makes me that much more excited to take two wheels outside.

Monday, July 6, 2009. I spent the weekend with Ken and Marsha in Coeur d'Alene. It was a beautiful weekend: super hot and sunny. CDA's annual Ironman triathlon had been just a couple of weekends before. Hanging around the downtown area, the Centennial Trail and the lake, one can't help but be aware of the lasting presence of this event. It was also quite motivating to get out and train. It was a good weekend for relaxing, healing, recuperating, and catching up with my parents. Yes, I miss Idaho a lot.
