Monday, January 13, 2014. So this friday i have a birthday. they used to be way more fun than they are now! Something about the cake going straight to my thighs, not enough air to blow out all the candles, and instead of being pampered the kids still need taken care of:). Monday, January 6, 2014. So yesterday, before it turned bitter, I took a little hike in our woods. The creek was partially frozen. Birds were scavenging. All was quiet. So quiet I could hear the snowflakes landing on my coat. It was amazing.and made me incredibly grateful for our little place we lovingly call Sycamore Hill. Stashmuffin spins another yarn. Thursday, November 01, 2012. Peace on Earth, Goodwill towards all. Third time this fall, I have found a Norwegian hand knit sweater in a resale shop. This one came from The Trendy Fox shop here in Rochester. Even though I am into Sámi stuff, I'm not wholly into reindeer on my sweaters. These ones are cool, though. I like the slightly large fit, and the sweater is made of fairly soft wool and is light and warm. Recent New Jersey acquisition. Love my sheep Sherpa!
