The Lantz Mill is located at 95 Swover Creek Rd, approximately two miles west of Edinburg, VA, along Stony Creek. Visitor are welcome to come and look at the mill from the public roadway. The mill is not open to the public and the property, as well as adjacent properties, are posted with "No Trespassing" signs, which must be respected by law. 95 Swover Creek Rd. The Lantz Mill. Photo taken during a snowstorm, December 5, 2009. A postcard from 1908 shows the original layout of the building. The building conforms to the plan for a small frame mill illustrated in D. W. Dedrick’s work, Practical Milling. All of the wooden grain chutes connecting the three floors and basement remain well preserved and intact. The mill was converted to electric motor power prior to 1936.
