supersonic-sonata: Review: Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli
http://supersonic-sonata.blogspot.com/2013/03/review-stargirl-by-jerry-spinelli.html
Sunday, March 10, 2013. Review: Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli. A conundrum. A puzzle. A mystery. An eccentric nonconformist home-schooled individual. Who first came as a sophomore to a public high school in this small town of Mica, Arizona. And went away without notice. She is Stargirl Caraway. Love her. Hate her. She doesn't care what you think or feel about her. All she cares about is appreciating the world, and everyone around it. She captures the heart of the voice of the story, Leo Borlock. Later i...

Sunday, March 24, 2013. The great Maginhawa food trip: The Iscreamist. It's summer and what perfect way to beat that scorching summer heat than to eat a sinful ice cold ice cream treat. My friends and I were searching for a unique ice cream place away from the usual Dairy Queen or Magnolia or Nestle ice cream scooperies or whatever you'd want to call them. In the long awesome street of hipster food central, Maginhawa, we found The Iscreamist. The periodic table menu, and guess who, Abayuyu. Dip, dip, dip.

Saturday, June 30, 2012. Summer came like cinnamon, so sweet (Part 2). Bataan trip was ' bitin. So the folks decided to just chill in Baguio and feel the breeze. This is also the debut appearance of my black-to-ash-brown hair color transition. Har har har. I actually liked this trip except for that part when all my cousins ganged up on me by turning off the lights, interrupting us girls watching Pattinson's Remember Me. Pictures can do the talking now. This is not the villa. Kanto lang ng villa. Seventee...

Monday, December 31, 2012. Review: The Little Prince / Antoine de Saint-Exupery. Is a beautiful reminder of childhood and how a child sees the world better than a grown-up. I always go back to my childhood everytime I read it. Remember when we were kids, we want to understand things so we used to ask and explore everything even if it means we'd possibly get hurt from it? But of course for those of us who understand life, we would not care less about figures.". Links to this post. Sunday, December 30, 2012.

supersonic-sonata: A tea party with the mad hatter, the bunny and the Cheshire cat

Monday, February 18, 2013. A tea party with the mad hatter, the bunny and the Cheshire cat. My friends invited me to a spontaneous Sunday afternoon out to try the new cupcake shop in Glorietta 4, Vanilla Cupcake Bakery. I was too amazed and enchanted by the " Alice in Wonderland. Feel of the place itself so I'd let the pictures do the talking. The moment I entered the shop, this cute and colorful fondant immediately caught my eye. A fondant cake with cakes on it. As this is my first time to try their men...

supersonic-sonata: What it's like to do field work in the walled city of Intramuros

Sunday, March 10, 2013. What it's like to do field work in the walled city of Intramuros. It was my last day of field work in the walled city of Intramuros. I know I won't be able to come back in a long time again so I had to take this opportunity to enjoy the view and relive the old Spanish era and Philippine history at its finest. (makes me want to take the Carlos Celdran tour over again! And that same material you can see making up the walls of Intramuros. And, of course, I also went to Binondo. N...

Tuesday, August 21, 2012. Random Instagram photo dump. This might seem redundant for those who see my updates in Instagram. But this pretty much narrates my hibernation starting from summer to. And some more halo-halo. With a touch of powdered milk on top. Popcorn and movie/series marathons. But then it started to rain like crazy so there were a lot of brownouts. Links to this post. Thursday, August 16, 2012. Drink coffee. Do stupid things faster with more energy. Links to this post. Via is your typical ...

Thursday, February 28, 2013. Zoom after two years (and why you guys should try Burger Bar). Let me start this by saying that reunions are always the best part of not seeing each other for a long time. I can't imagine we spent five hours just telling stories of what we've been doing for the past few years after Orsem 2010: Zoom. It started off as a random post of the word "dinner" in our Facebook groups and then everyone started replying and confirming their attendance. YAY! Burger Bar, Greenbelt 2. The c...
