What do you picture in your mind when you think of roadrunners? If you're anywhere close to my age, it's probably something like this. Blame it on Saturday morning cartoons! Although the Roadrunner is called the "signature bird of the desert Southwest", we don't see them all that often in 29 Palms. My wife named him "Randy" the Roadrunner.

A cozy table, a mile high pile of books, a pumpkin spiced latte = a happy nurse. Spent last Friday at Barnes and Nobles in Vestal, NY. One of the more sprawling versions of this wonderful place that I call "bliss". I finished and delivered the cashmere/ merino. Wool sweater set for my friend's grandson, Carter. So much time has passed that I really don't want to spend time catching up on where and what I have been doing. There's been traveling with the trailer. The camera has photos that need uploading. The house has less collectibles in some areas, and more in others. Spent close to home. We'll see how the year plays out.
