The fence.years ago I grew gourds on these arbors constructed of re-purposed John Deere mower packing crates and woven wire fence.it was a 'race to the top' for the gourd plants. The plants are near the end of the season here and some gourds are being supported with small platforms made from scrap particle board that I have attached to the fencing.
