Has over a thousand years of history and boasts the largest medieval castle in Europe as well as several other historic monuments and beautiful gardens. Is a fifty-acre country park, which was created in 1830. Set among wooded hills, there are lakes and a dozen gardens. It’s a beautiful place to discover many varieties of plants and trees. There is a lovely coastal path where you can follow a circular walk from the town to the Pointe du Grouin, which has lovely views across the bay towards Mont St Michel.
