...the journey...: our monthly update...
http://joshandlinde.blogspot.com/2009/03/our-monthly-update.html
I hate that it's come to be a monthly update, but it has. Our computer is still very dead.more for lack of time to pay attention to it than lack of options to fix it. Work has kept us busy and worn out and I feel like we've spent most of our off times recently just recuperating. And saying mama, dada. Below our some recent pictures. First are some with Sydney's new friend Josiah. He's the son of another couple of Family Teachers here, Don and Karen. Josiah is just a couple months older than S...

...the journey...: where have we been...
http://joshandlinde.blogspot.com/2009/01/where-have-we-been.html
Where have we been. It blows my mind that it has been over a month since I have last blogged.where has the time gone? Well, we've been so busy that it's just slipped away.but lots has happened between then and now. So many things I've wanted to document and haven't made the time to do that, well blog that anyway. So, here is my attempt to catch you up. And last but certainly not least, tonight Sydney has been walking across the room for the first time. She's been taking steps here and there since Tha...

Syd probably trying to tell us that she's sick and doesn't want her picture taken. But she was a good sport anyway. This is the poor Syd we've seen the last couple days.if she's not crying, she's been totally zoned out. She LOVES all the boxes to pull up on. Posted by linde and josh. Moving across the country.again. In two weeks we will be moving to South Carolina to be Family Teachers for middle school age boys! So what does this mean? It means we'll be living with up to 8 (but starting with 3) middle s...

http://joshandlinde.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
We have been so busy with so many fun things I'm having a hard time remembering all the way back to the beginning of the month. I'll do my best to try and catch you up. We started the month going to a fun conference for work in North Carolina. We enjoyed looking at the mountains, a little bit of snow, LOTS of laughs, and of course some work :) (but no pictures! Enjoy the pictures, I wish there were more.what can I say, I did my best :) And just a warning, the blogs will probably continue to be sparse...

Sydney took her first "big girl" bath tonight. She absolutely LOVED it and had a ball splashing it up. Sorry for the short clip.tried to clip the part of the video that was "internet appropriate" :). Posted by linde and josh. Fun with uncle PC. We're having a good time with my brother, Nick, here. Here's a few snap shots of all the fun. Syd having fun with Uncle Nick's hair. Apparently Nick playing photographer, I was oblivious but Syd seemed to enjoy it. Posted by linde and josh. How cute is she?

A night out with our small group. Posted by linde and josh. As each month goes by it is baffling to me how fast she is growing. In some ways she is starting to look like a little girl and less like a baby to me, which is scary! She is such a good baby, such a blessing to us. She's started to sleep really well this past week and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is the new normal, but who knows. Now if I could only get her to take a decent nap! She fell asleep with the silky in her mouth. like ...

Over the Edge of the World . . .: April 2010
http://snyoder.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Over the Edge of the World . . . I shall sink with my nose to the sunrise. Monday, April 26, 2010. After a short interlude. I have slipped into an old habit of procrastination . . . and this includes everything. I am procrastinating studying Bangla, procrastinating writing emails, procrastinating writing on my blog. I thought I could shake it. Alas . . . This Friday, a couple who Melissa and I have come to know will be returning home to Alaska. They have been here since we have been here. They we...Somet...

Over the Edge of the World . . .: January 2010

Over the Edge of the World . . . I shall sink with my nose to the sunrise. Thursday, January 28, 2010. Oh, the adventures to be had . . . I am thankful I am traveling with someone who has traveled more than me. In certain situations- like border crossings- I wish I had more experience to lend wisdom in, but, alas, the only border crossings have been in the air, and compared to what we experienced yesterday, all my customs and immigration passings have been relatively painless up to this point. At two in ...

Over the Edge of the World . . .: November 2010
http://snyoder.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Over the Edge of the World . . . I shall sink with my nose to the sunrise. Tuesday, November 30, 2010. My dear cousin Amy and I were talking a couple of weeks ago. She said something profound, which is actually normal for her. We were talking about traveling- leaving and coming home. She said that everyone needs to leave home because unless we leave home, we can never miss home. Well, I am far from home, and I miss home. Saturday, November 27, 2010. Beth has brain malaria. She's been running high fev...

Over the Edge of the World . . .: Fear-inspiring
http://snyoder.blogspot.com/2010/10/fear-inspiring.html
Over the Edge of the World . . . I shall sink with my nose to the sunrise. Tuesday, October 12, 2010. I am not usually a person who strikes fear in the hearts of people. I tend to be a nice person who smiles easily. Today, however, I struck fear in the hearts of many . . . Ugh I don't like being known only as the one who gives shots: the ladies in the Gach unit come up to me and act like they are going to give me a shot. Kind endearing. All the girls looked at me like they were betrayed. They made al...
