Sunday, October 7, 2012. Cedar Breaks National Monument. Cedar Breaks National Monument is said to be a "mini Bryce Canyon". I couldn't fathom how something so large could be called "mini" anything! Monday, April 23, 2012. San Diego Botanical Garden. The San Diego Digital SLR group. Met at the San Diego Botanical Garden for April's group shoot. It was a cold and windy day that turned wet for a while. This group doesn't let a little wind and rain dampen our spirits though! We had a great time and made the best of it, enjoying great people and camaraderie in the process. The lily pond with frogs and turtles is a fun place in the gardens to visit and it was my first stop. Saturday, April 21, 2012.

Saturday, August 23, 2014. Comic Con San Diego 2014. Every year there are a group of people trying to save the heathen Comic Con attendees. Because if you believe in Batman you must be heathen right? You can see this dude in head to toe by clicking the gallery link at the bottom of the post here. I am not sure what this monkey did to piss the transit enforcement off, but you'll see a series of photos in my gallery. They even made him take his shoes off! Those eyelashes make the bird look coyly flirtatious. I didnt realize they could be so large. You have done a great job of isolating your subject and showcasing the remarkable details of its plumage. The ever-changing group that works here are completely self-contained, relying on the sun to power their existence. The late Charles Russell created East Jesus in 2006 and described his vision in this way.
