My Travels Around the World. Tired, Smelly & Emotional. My flight from Chicago to Birmingham was cancelled. At this point, I just want to be home. When I arrived in Chicago, I quickly went through Immigration and Customs with my Global Entry status. In fact, they were able to put me on an earlier flight which would get me home almost 4 hours earlier than my original flight. In hindsight, I should have stuck with the original flight.
