Saturday, March 28, 2015. Dad's Lifetime Achievement Ceremony in Washington, D.C. Monday, March 9, was the big ceremony/dinner where my Dad was honored while we were in D.C. He was a recipient of the 2015 Herb Wegner Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement, given to him by the National Credit Union Foundation. That is the official name for the award, but in other words, it's a super big deal. To my knowledge, it's one of the highest (if not the. Highest) honor one can receive in the credit union world.

Feb 11, 2015. This past weekend we had intentions of making some serious headway in our packing. Good intentions don't always equal success. Hardy's folks came to get Persephone on Saturday so we could actually pack (try doing that with a toddler, it's not any fun.) We got about 2hrs in and I had to get ready for a baby shower at 2pm. I was having so much fun mingling at the shower I didn't make it home until after 5pm! Sooooo we are definitely behind schedule. Here are some photos from their fun day!

Aug 13, 2015. We are potty trained! I wish I had something more clever to say. Like everybody poops.and we all do. Persephone has been officially potty trained since Friday 7/24/15! We stopped pull-ups altogether unless she was sleeping. She's only had a few accidents at school since, but only two of them were her refusal to go to the potty. Jul 27, 2015. Persephone has watched a handful of full-length movies at home and during car rides. When the Minions movie came out, I assumed it would be a good time to try taking her to the theater. Well.we made it through about 1hr ha! She was just too fidgety and bored and didn't want to sit still. We even moved to a row all by ourselves so she wouldn't bother anyone's movie experience. Thursday, February 26, 2015. It's in quotes because it didn't really happen. After much buildup and anticipation this week, yesterday was kind of a bummer of a snow day.
