Lady Jane of the Jungle: May 2011
http://ljwalker.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Lady Jane of the Jungle. A short-haired Southern cyclist and editor gives her view on two wheels. Saturday, May 14, 2011. While I have yet to try my hand at gardening and growing my own vegetables, I do enjoy and regularly peruse local produce, whether from the Wednesday Farmers Market, Sunday's Chattanooga Market or that yuppie health food store on the Northshore. Over the season, though, I met different farmers at the market and was particularly impressed with Curtis and Letty at Circle S. Only you, Su...

Lady Jane of the Jungle: Only you, Suzie Q!

Lady Jane of the Jungle. A short-haired Southern cyclist and editor gives her view on two wheels. Monday, May 9, 2011. Only you, Suzie Q! This weekend marked Mother's Day—a holiday I don't mind celebrating. I'm so blessed to be able to spend time with my MamaSooz who has passed on more than her good looks and great genes. She also raised three beautiful kids and taught me how to be a hospitable, loving, warm host—and a pretty decent cook. Regardless, the celebrating called for some local deliciousness!

Lady Jane of the Jungle: A Mobile Summer
http://ljwalker.blogspot.com/2011/06/mobile-summer.html
Lady Jane of the Jungle. A short-haired Southern cyclist and editor gives her view on two wheels. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. While summer is still creeping closer, the season of sweat arrived a few weeks ago. Already I'm benefiting from the long hours of sunlight, though, as evidenced by a ride out to East Chattanooga last night at 8 pm. Even after a shower post-workout, I was drenched. Unlike this photo ( - -) taken by a coworker for my company's facebook page for proof of our. However, I started (gasp!

Lady Jane of the Jungle: October 2010
http://ljwalker.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Lady Jane of the Jungle. A short-haired Southern cyclist and editor gives her view on two wheels. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. After a weekend of camping on the French Broad River, Jeremy and I enjoyed the Tennessee through our town with a Monday night ride on the riverwalk. The sunset was incredible- and truly a sign of fall. On the way home we stopped in at the Boathouse and had some of the best oysters I've had in months! For half price night of course. Lady Jane of the Jungle: September 2010
http://ljwalker.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
Lady Jane of the Jungle. A short-haired Southern cyclist and editor gives her view on two wheels. Saturday, September 25, 2010. My (sub)urban cyclo-adventures continued this morning with a 27-mile route that took J and I over the river via C.B. Robinson and back to town on Ashland Terrace/McCahill Road/Moccasin Bend. We did, however, pass David Meek's ghost bike. On Ashland Terrace, an all-to-recent reminder of driver-cyclist tensions on the road. Posted by Laura Jane. Sunday, September 19, 2010. A cold ...

Lady Jane of the Jungle: Back on the Cruiser!
http://ljwalker.blogspot.com/2011/03/back-on-cruiser.html
Lady Jane of the Jungle. A short-haired Southern cyclist and editor gives her view on two wheels. Friday, March 18, 2011. Back on the Cruiser! That's right—it's cruiser season! My commuter is in the hands of a mechanic for the week getting what I refer to as her spring makeover. New chain, all new cables, a healthy cleaning and beautiful, celeste bar tape. Can't wait to zip around town when she's back! Nothing like ringing in the new season, a full moon and a FRIDAY like a beautiful, warm bike ride!

Lady Jane of the Jungle. A short-haired Southern cyclist and editor gives her view on two wheels. Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Turn on the Lights. It never ceases to amaze me how reading one tiny article can ignite my editorial interests so quickly. I won't lie, my heart was a-flutter before even turning the page. But I haven't felt this way about writing and editing since my junior or senior year in J school. Posted by Laura Jane. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Look at the Cooks.

Lady Jane of the Jungle: January 2011
http://ljwalker.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Lady Jane of the Jungle. A short-haired Southern cyclist and editor gives her view on two wheels. Tuesday, January 18, 2011. In light of the region's extraordinary snowfall recently, Chattanoogans now must suffer a gross, misty rain today. I'll take it when compared with the slick roads of last week—though the sand that seems to coat my entire commute (and somehow makes its way into my house) I could do without. Enough about the wardrobe! Posted by Laura Jane. Monday, January 10, 2011. A liberal, lively ...
