All the kids we anxious for us to get back home as we had said presents could be opened up then.not sure who was more anxious the old g/kids or lisa.so that done with much fun and laughter it was time for dinner.everything was done and i must say delicious but then i cooked it. DUCKTAILS ON THE ROAD. Saturday, November 29, 2014. This year we did something different for thanksgiving.our granddaughter now works as a cook/chef for the salvation army in watertown and we decided in order to have a family holiday together it made sense for us to go to watertown and help out serving dinner there.so we did exactly that. The salvation had also gotten alot of donated food that those who wanted could take.bread- produce- pies- etc.so it was a good day. We were glad we were part of it.

This year has been quite the year for our garden.early this spring and the start of summer we've had alot of rain and the garden looked like it.some days it was full of water and we thought that the seeds and plants were just going to float away.so we have been surprised that we are now beginning to reap the harvest from it. DUCKTAILS ON THE ROAD. Sunday, September 28, 2014. Last night was a neighborhood bon-fire which we have often during the summer and that gave us a thought why not try out the smoker and take some smoked vension and wild turkey for our snack to share. We figured that it would take at least 2 hrs of smoke and we had planned 2/1/2 hrs and it was perfect.so our first attempt at smoking meat turned out just fine if you ask us. DUCKTAILS ON THE ROAD. Thursday, April 9, 2015. We are finally home after 3 months on the road.we got out of town and january 3 and believe it or not we drove back in the driveway apr 3.so that is a total of 3 mths away.we had a good winter wetter than usuall but didn't hurt us to bad.we were n't able to ride our bikes as much as we would hve liked to but we did ride in alabama which was good. Now it is back to the old grind again and the calendar is filling up with stuff to do. Life is good.god bless.

DUCKTAILS ON THE ROAD. Friday, June 19, 2015. Here it is almost July and i sure have not been very good about posting.oh there is lots of excuses but for the most part we have been busy. First as some know i had knee replacement the end of april so that has taken up alot of my time going to dr's appt and physical therepy. Then May 1st it was spring turkey season and you know who was busy hunting.he was successful in filling 3 tags so now the freezer has some wild turkey (not in a bottle).

DUCKTAILS ON THE ROAD. Monday, October 27, 2014. 24 OUT THIS MORNING. This wa this morning activities at 464.first at 8 nurse eileen arrived then at 9 pt cindy also arrive to put me thru my paces.the first thing to do waas to take out the stitches which wasn't too bad a couple of them might have pulled a wee bit but not unbearable. Ng oknurse and pt are pleased with my progress so again if they are pleased so am i.lar even got to keep the tool that was used to take them out. Sunday, October 26, 2014.
