On the one hand, you're buying an electronic version of "The Yii Book" by Larry Ullman, in English. You will be able to download as many copies of the book as you want in these electronic formats: PDF, ePub, and mobi. All are DRM-free. While I complete the second version of the book (for Yii 2). Errors do happen. As they are caught, they'll be corrected in the next update (this is another benefit of self-publishing an e-book), but in the meantime, you can find them listed here. The first edition of the book (for Yii 1) is now in maintenance mode, which means new releases will occur rarely, and only for significant problems. Almost all of my energies will go towards the second edition of the book (for Yii 2). If you catch an error in the book, you can submit that via the feedback.

The third update for version 2 of the Yii framework has been posted. This is a wee little update, bringing the book to version 1.6. It completes Part II of the book, through Chapter 14, for Yii 2. You can download both the complete Yii 1 version of the book and the partial Yii 2 version. I just shipped version 1.0, which adds Part 4 of the book, three new chapters. The book is now 649 pages long! Now to start working on the update for Yii 2! Only three chapters left, which I'll try to finish quickly.
