Does waking up at 4 am constitute sacrifice? Instead of attending the rest of the block meeting, Larry and I chose to attend the Danao Branch which met in the chapel at 9 am. We were asked to speak rather than just bearing our testimonies—I was sure I had taken only 7 minutes, but Larry informed me afterwards that I had taken almost 15! Posted by Liz B.

Thursday, January 24, 2013. It is 34 degrees and we think a heat wave has hit. Really! For the past month it has been -20, 0, and once it got to 13 degrees. Ethan went on a boyscout camp out last weekend and it was -20. I literally prayed that he would not freeze. He came home and his cheeks were very rosy, but I had bundled him up with so many layers that he did ok. (There were other boys who were not so lucky- sad.).
