Labels: cut paper collage. March 16, 2009 9:03 PM. Awesome, bro. If it's not on your blog, I don't think I could tell it was from you. Very nice. I love the direc...

http://bikewithlarry.blogspot.com/2009/09/91109.html
B i k e with Larry. My cycling journal. Workout logs, and other exploits on the bicycle. Been a beginner/intermediate rider since I was 18. Hope to improve on that some day. Sunday, September 13, 2009. It was a Friday night, but the wife wants to hit the the gym. Seems like a good idea since I missed out on spin class the day before. Did weights - 2 exercises for chest, back, shoulders, and one for biceps, and tri. Cheat day started. Hope I can stop. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). E A T with.me!

The Accidental Asian: January 2010
http://victormaningo.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 21, 2010. We’ve all heard of the rapper 50-cent right? Well have you heard of the 5-cent Architect? There is an article that I read in the New York Times. That is so telling of the economic times we are in. I know everyone and every industry is going through this tough time, however, I can only speak personally of my industry, as this is what I have seen and experienced. Who knows, this could be the beginning of something wonderful and exciting….stay tuned…. Faster, Stronger, Higher.

The Accidental Asian: Captain Amazing
http://victormaningo.blogspot.com/2010/02/captain-amazing.html
Monday, February 15, 2010. You get my point. Well I’m serious about all of it (I exaggerated a bit about the puppies and kittens but it wouldn’t surprise me if that was in his life agenda as well). On paper the kid is almost perfect. His dad was a High school athletic coach and his mother a Home EC teacher. So that helps explain a lot. Tell him you care about the planet and he’ll give you a point-by-point directive on the initiatives and programs that he has developed and implemented (in China). He train...

The Accidental Asian: October 2008
http://victormaningo.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 22, 2008. A Delicate Sense of History -“Scooting” to Enlightenment. Most of us go through this phase of trying to figure out who we are where we are and where we are going. I was told by Mr. Diconti. It’s their country not mine…right? Well, I had a break through. It’s been a little over a year but the catalyst to my epiphany was on my little electric scooter. Riding this thing day in and day out I’ ve. Concept of spatial relationship. Lesson one: There is none, space I mean! Nico, our ...

The Accidental Asian: Architecture and Cake
http://victormaningo.blogspot.com/2010/02/architecture-and-cake.html
Monday, February 15, 2010. I’ve always likened being an Architect to that of being a Chef. In fact, a few years back the CNN Money did an article called “Big Jobs That Pay Badly”. And the number two job with that honor was being a Architect. The Number Three was, you guessed it, being a Chef. Being a Archeologist secured the number one position but that said, Archeologists do get to travel to exotic places and are able to get a pretty kick ass tan in the great outdoors. A Chef that knows the flavors of c...

The Accidental Asian: August 2008
http://victormaningo.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 14, 2008. The coolest thing ever…. This seems to be the “profile” of pretty much everyone I’ve met here. Another friend, Helena, mentioned that she’s lived in 7 cities in 4 countries in 8 years! To a guy that’s lived in Los Angeles for over 20 years this all sounds so exciting and cosmopolitan, however it also seems extremely exhausting. You see, the more you experience, the longer life seems. One caveat though, they must be quality experiences. The Myth is real…. Well 10 months into liv...
