Thursday, July 2, 2009. Well this week has flown by super fast! I've been having a hard time getting out of vacation mode and just feeling like sitting around reading all day. Emily was very excited to get back to gymnastics on Tuesday since she missed last week while playing in San Diego. I'm so glad she still loves it! For now, I'm taking care of fever girl (boy does she get MOODY when the medicine wears off and her fever comes back! This will be Emily's first year staying up to watch the fireworks!

Friday, June 26, 2009. What a great time we had on our mini-vacation! Emily pretty much summed it up for me the first afternoon we were there; she was playing in the water and sand on the bay when she stopped and called out to me, "Mommy, this is happiness! The next day was zoo day. We loved the zoo! Wednesday was our only other full day there and we decided to use it for relaxation time. I got a massage in the early morning and the rest of the morning we spent at the pool swimming and reading. A...Bella...

Sunday, January 17, 2010. Way to go Emily! She's just learned how to ride her bike without training wheels and all it took was 3 short sessions. She is soooo proud of herself; I love to see her beaming about it! It's really cute too because she works hard at it and has her tongue sticking out of her mouth the whole time. I got to make another cake this week, yay! 160;My friend from high school has a little boy and he's turning one this weekend; it's so cool that I got to make his first birthday cake! 160;Plus, I haven't seen her in about 10 years so it'll be awesome to visit her tomorrow. This one was done with a shaped cake pan so I decided to make it a little more challenging in the decorating department and made him furry. :) I think he looks like a stuffed animal!
