About me | Porcelain Rove
https://jamieyoung.wordpress.com/about-me
Ceramic Design by Jamie Young. My approach is to use the concept of beauty as well as developing a narrative framing the work. Inspired by nature and human responses to the natural world in art and design, I have responded by creating well crafted and tactile objects beyond functionality whose owners will be attached to in an emotional rather than rational way. Coffee cup’ something to be treasured that people will want to hold onto for a long time. My lovely fiance Andy and I at the Kfm exhibition.

Wall Art | Porcelain Rove
https://jamieyoung.wordpress.com/2013/09/30/wall-art
Ceramic Design by Jamie Young. So I’ve been trying to make some ceramic doiley’s lately. Tricky business these fragile things. Getting the hang of it though. I’m loving the way that ceramic objects can be so light and dainty like their material references. Each piece is also a complete one off and can never be reproduced as the fabric doiley is destroyed in the process. Laquo; Mrs Young. Christmas unwrapped at Aotea Square. Date : September 30, 2013.
