Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Its finals weeks. Here is a post for all my college homies. Magic 8 ball says:. Will I survive with sanity? Outlook not so good. Top ten on how to survive finals:. 1 sing, dance and generally rock out in car to sufficiently hip music (I recommend JayZ, Black Eyed Peas, or Shakira.Holla! 2 when stress hits, just remember: CTFO! If you don't know what this means, ask someone under 40). 3 red wine at night, ladies delight. 7 read number 3 and 4, drink, rinse, repeat.

Sunday, June 14, 2009. Happy Birthday Sweet Emma. Hug your kids, slow down take a deep breath and hug your kids. The little moments are what matter. When you are feeling stressed about tying shoes, making lunches, jetting around to sports games and birthday parties, remember that these moments are fleeting. Before you know it they are halfway to moving out! When you think are too busy to say yes to a child asking you to play with them or read to them, think again. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

the jungle suburban: September 2009

Thursday, September 17, 2009. If only we could all do the things that bring us joy for our profession. I am most bored with my job lately. Microsoft is no longer hiring armies of code monkeys and it leaves me with too much time on my hands and not enough green in my pocket. Emma is turning into quite the athlete! She made Joe and I so proud on Saturday that we just about burst. She was ahead of the pack on the soccer field, dominating the ball and fast as lightning. Go Emma! Avery is also playing soccer&...

Relocate, Reaclimate, Renovate. Wednesday, June 24, 2009. This last week both our social and remodeling schedules kept us busy. Our friend Chris visiting Yuma on his cross-country road trip from New York to California. We attended the Raddison Wine Bar's wine tasting and tapas night with friends Nicole, Monica and Sean - This might be our new favorite event in Yuma! The tree is gone! Oh how we hate this tree! The tree had to come down! Monday, June 8, 2009. We're thinking it blends well with the island b...

Relocate, Reaclimate, Renovate. Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Into the Woods and Jen's sofa project. Three years ago we attended one of the most spectacular musical productions we've seen thus far! Tuesday, April 21, 2009. Law Center Carb Party. Levi's office had physical fitness test coming up so invited the entire office and their families over to stuff themselves with carbolicious spaghetti and bread. It was great to show off our work we've completed so far. It was a steamy 103 degrees this day, ...This ...

Relocate, Reaclimate, Renovate. Thursday, May 21, 2009. This damn table. It's journey to our dining room began more than 2 months ago as Jen tried her hardest to make it fit in the back of their Ford Focus if it were just an inch smaller it would've fit! We returned the table and as we were driving home we realized it might have fit if we had remove it out of it's box. Jen is still reconsidering the blinds - we might change them out for white blinds instead. Thoughts? Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Luke and Kr...
