Well, my dilemma of what to do with my blogs is now resolved. My mission blog, enlisted. Is going to become a "Returned Missionary recovery" blog. Laugh all you want, there's a lot to recover from when you get home! Actually it's more like. There's a lot to adapt to. You have to figure out how to use your mission-acquired knowledge in regular, day-to-day life. And use time wisely! Such things. It's a real struggle sometimes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Silver linings of working all of Labor Day weekend. I get a haircut. I get free food. I get to sort of see my family sometimes, when I'm not working. I get to see my dog. I don't have to pack extra clothes - Just work clothes and PJs. I get to watch Netflix with my sisters. I don't have to do homework (really I just won't have time). I get to see some of my cool coworkers. I get to see cute little kids. I get to work Sky Coaster with two of my favorite coworkers. I can write letters to missionaries.

I can't even count the number of times that I have started a post and stopped because I forgot or ran out of time or something in the last few weeks. I guess that a lot of that is because the things that have been on my mind lately are pretty personal. I'm a little bit all over the place recently - School is hard, but it's awesome. Friends are fantastic. Dating is. Dating. I've been struggling to have good, effective scripture study, and that really frustrates me. There's definitely also truth in there.

So yesterday was super hard, and may or may not have involved crying on the phone to my mother. I don't want to go in to a lot of detail, but basically, even though I'm super psyched to serve a mission, it's still a huge decision and second-guessing will occur. And did.
