January 11, 2017. Which is a whole new song (RIP Georgie Wham). So last session was yesterday and I was very pleased that I had Anya again who started everything off. Felt it went full circle. And lovely lady Lynie found a vein in my left forearm so back of left hand was very pleased. Threw up spectacularly last night. Hopefully it’s just the once because have been ok today. Ultrasound and sore feet. November 21, 2016. Have encountered a cumulative side effect of sore and tender right foot (palmar-plantar apparently though that sounds like a pot-plant). Have therefore adopted ridiculous clown shoe footwear:. Please note matching socks because that’s so much more unobtrusive. 😉. March 5, 2017. So we had some good news from the consultant on Thursday – 23 lymph nodes removed (which sounds like a mouthful of grape pips), 5 of which showed signs of cancer. They’re gone. The tumour is also gone. However, they have to have a minimum margin of healthy tissue around the bad bit and when they checked, they didn’t quite have enough. November 30, 2016. Yesterday was the start of the FECs – new drug cocktail with different side effect. Imogen and Slavka looked after me. Veins in my left hand are now officially in hiding. They know what’s coming. So after one attempt, they wrapped my hand in a hotpad which seemed to help coax the veins back out again. Next time am going to travel over clutching furry hot water bottle.
