Teach in a Costa Rican Paradise. We are seeking a couple, probably retired, with extensive elementary-level and/or high school-level teaching experience to teach and oversee our K-8 (growing to K-12) school. The village of Las Alturas. Has around 100 permanent residents, including over 40 school age children. The couple will be provided room and board, and will live beside the beautiful Coton River in a small rustic house with hot and cold running water and a soft bed.

Las Alturas is a 25,000 acre preserve located near the Panama border on the western slopes of the Talamancan range. The property ranges in altitude from 1100 meters to 2200 meters above sea level. Several rivers and streams run through the property. The Coton River runs directly through the town of Las Alturas. The ranch abuts Parque Amistad, the international conservation tract established by the Costa Rica government and consists of territories in both Costa Rica and Panama.
