My first two weeks here felt like two months it was the strangest feeling ever. I have been in Ecuador now for three, but it feels like I have been here for at least eight. However, this week started to pass by at a semi-normal rate. Perhaps only twice as slowly as a normal week instead of four times as slowly! Most of you reading this know I love food. A day of food.

After speaking only Spanish for the past twelve or so hours, trying to type in English is something that takes a little more thought than usual especially when some talk radio in Spanish is on in the background. Arriving at the apartment, we parked underground and then dropped grandma off on the third floor and proceeded to our apartment on the fifth floor! Oh, and Ecuadorian Grandma also really likes coffee.
