Next step: gravel | Spud Hill Farm

Peace of mind and elbow room. This and that →. August 4, 2015. We got Ben for a couple weeks, so naturally we came up with some dirty work to keep him busy. He started out by helping Geoff clean up the thenches, scooping out loose dirt and smoothing the bottom. Then they started adding gravel – spread, soak, compact, repeat. The goal is to have a hard, level surface to build concrete forms on. It’s hot work, but at least you get your feet wet! Great job, guys! This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

Peace of mind and elbow room. Next step: gravel →. July 6, 2015. Mom had Sunday set aside to work on the Little Red House, preparing it to get a foundation. We planned the day to avoid the triple-digit heat, starting promptly at 5am. We started by pulling off siding to be re-used. While Mom was pulling nails, Reuben and I snuck off to re-set the corner stakes for the shop, in the new-really-this-time location. Proof that we are in the right place. Last shot of the future building site. Once the buildings...

Saturday, June 20, 2015. I went on a knitting spree. I found these cute hat kits up in a yarn shop in Everett WA and bought them on a whim. The kit is DMC's Top This! The blue and grey on on the end was some yarn from my stash and an attempt at making my own pattern. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Puget Sound Smocking Guild. LuLu and Annie - Gail Doane.
