Maurine was born many years ago in the back of a taxi cab. She learned about virtue at her mother's knee and later learned about vice at other joints. Endless hours of viewing Spanish soap operas led to bouts of spontaneous singing on the bus. Longing to break into the music business, someone told her to start at the bottom, so she took up the bass. Singing with Las Gabacha-chas has cured her rheumatism! Back to Las Gabacha-chas.

Rumor has it that Arvis is the baby of the bunch, but she is actually older than the combined ages of all the Gabacha-chas! Her ancestors came from Transylvania, where some say she is so talented that she built the house she was born in. Unlike others of her kind, she is not vulnerable to sunlight and LOVES garlic. When she isn't hunting in the forests with her pet chupacabra, she plays different kinds of flute, including the piccolo, and dabbles on the keyboard. Back to Las Gabacha-chas.
