Sewing, Knitting, Reading with other domestic happenings. Thursday, July 27, 2006. I've been working on these face cloths and I'm bored out of my mind. Unfortunately I weighed the yarn I had left after making the multicolored one, and I had enough left to do it again. So I started another one and when I'm finished I am THROWING AWAY what's left. Posted by Mary B at 5:18 AM. Wednesday, July 26, 2006. In the process, I'm tossing an old Mexican furniture set, called *equipales*. Here's a tomato update:.

Sewing, Knitting, Reading with other domestic happenings. Friday, June 30, 2006. Sewing Camp - Last Day. I met my 5 garment goal. Here is my unofficial SWAP (Sewing With A Plan)/capsule for Summer 2006. There are 3 skirts and 4 tops. Most of them work with each other, or at least coordinate. I like prints and that makes it a bit tricky. Ugh, sorry for the blurry photo. Yesterday and today I worked on KS 2976. I made one from the print,. And one from the solid gauze with embroidery:. Last, I present a sock.

Sewing, Knitting, Reading with other domestic happenings. Thursday, April 27, 2006. White Envelope Arrived Today. It's the new OTTOBRE. Oh, how I wish I still had a little baby girl to dress. No, I'm not one of those people who goes to the website as soon as it's up. I wait, so that I can enjoy it in print, and lovingly stare at it in my hot little hands, caress the pages, stroke the pattern sheets, you know what I mean. . . The candidates for an actual make are: Boys' colorblocked T. For example, when I...

Sewing, Knitting, Reading with other domestic happenings. Wednesday, May 31, 2006. The camp has some rocking chairs where you're supposed to knit and socialize in the evenings, so I'm bringing a sock for that. The yarn is Knitpicks Dancing. Which I've used before and they are my favorite socks. A definite rave review for this yarn, although the color choices are a little too bright for my tastes. I'll be bringing the Charlotte's Web Shawl with me, just in case. Finally, a new suit for dd:. I'm leaving fo...

Sewing, Knitting, Reading with other domestic happenings. Friday, March 31, 2006. Here are the second pair of Broadripple Socks. Again from Elann's Sock it to Me! Collection Esprit. I like these better because they have lime green, a color with which I am obsessed. I wore the first pair the other day and they were nice, maybe a little big, but I still haven't washed them to find out what's going to happen there. I expect them to shrink a bit, at least I hope they do. View from Sewing Room Window. And run...

Well, Blogger sux, because I can't upload any pictures. We'll see if this post gets lost or not.
