Life Lately and My Monkey. Whewthat was a long break to say the least. And I might still be on a blogging break because life is fairly busy right now. Bump Style Peek: olive maxi guitar print button-down {17 weeks}. How is your week going? This pregnancy is progressing at warp speed and I'm feeling pretty good (knock on wood! Jack finished painting and prepping the nursery (a pale creamy grey green - could I be more predictable? But it's exciting to have the looming due date as a goal point to be ready for. We also went through our pre-natal classes and they were excellent ( we took them through The Nest Family Centre. Necklace - Forever 21 (old).

If you've made it this far you have incredible patience - because my blog is being a real pain lately. Bump Style Peek: striped top skinny olive khakis {15 weeks}. How are you doing? I'm doing great this week, compared to a not-so-great last week. The sun is finally shining here in Winnipeg, it's the weekend and I'm feeling healthy and well-rested. Please excuse the focus on these pics, I'm not sure what went wrong there! Just Eat It: One Pot Moroccan Goodness. 1 Tbsp Olive Oil. 1 Red Onion (small onion or skip if you are anti-onion), chopped up. 2 large Carrots chopped up. 2 cups Vegetable Stock (homemade is best or use a low sodium, organic veggie cube in 2 cups warm water). 1 400 ml can Coconut Milk. 1-2 Tbsp Curry Powder (depending on how strong your curry powder is and what you like). 4 Tbsp ground Cumin. 1 400 ml can Chick Peas (or 2 cups cooked from dried). Sea Salt to taste.

This little guy followed me home from the thrift store a long time ago. I finally got around to painting it and good news. I'm sure you're all shocked. I had a quart of Benjamin Moore, Montpelier still on my shelf that I used on this dresser. This is the Ben line of paint by Benjamin Moore. I love using this paint, it goes on great and leaves a smooth finish. It still went on great even though it's been sitting there for two years. This chap got a British makeover since my husband.
