May 6, 2012. Curlicues and Confections at Passport For Fashion. A few weeks ago, two lovely ladies came in wanting to get their makeup done for an upcoming event that Saturday. I warned them that it was Prom season (CRAZY) and that we were pretty much booked but I had no problem coming out and doing their makeup. Nila of Curlicues and Confections. And her best friend Camille were participating in the Passport For Fashion Event at Reel Works Studio and had an intricate candy dress walk down the runway!

Apr 24, 2012. Porter Garner Imprinted Image Photography. Last weekend I had the pleasure of working with established local photographer Porter Garner. I was very impressed with his work and had been interested in working with him for a while. The images turned out great, better than I would have thought! It turned out that he actually thought that bean sprouts were some kind of animal, with a head (the seed coat) and an open mouth, its (forked) tongue sticking out, ready to nip him for cutting off its tail.
