A book editor friend of mine was excited to tell me about her latest discovery. Of, relating to, or having the character of history. Used in the past and reproduced in historical presentations. Famous or important in history. Having great and lasting importance historic. But only important or famous historical.

My first statement is simple here. Raising a question is not begging the question. As per Webster's Third New International Dictionary, Unabridged:. Begged the question: a logical fallacy in which a premise is assumed to be true without warrant or in which what is to be proved is implicitly taken for granted.
