Stitches and Stories: New Journey
http://www.stitchesandstories.com/2015/07/new-journey.html
Welcome to the Stitches and Stories Blog, brought to you from the Sheep Shack. Sunday, July 5, 2015. I have joined the fitness center associated with our local health care system. This shall be an interesting journey. Day One - I worked out on some of the cardio equipment and walked laps on the indoor track. The Pros - I took the first step, and I walked into the gym, overweight and out of shape. The Cons - You would think the seats on the stationary bikes would be a bit more cushioned. You can do it.
Stitches and Stories: December 2013

Welcome to the Stitches and Stories Blog, brought to you from the Sheep Shack. Thursday, December 19, 2013. The festivus season is upon us in full force, many take this time to reflect on another year past; books read and written, stash busted, mittens, hats, scarves, sweaters etc. knitted or crocheted. Miles jogged, pounds lost or gained. But I'd like to look to the next year, goals, aspirations and things to come. And I want to give a shout out to a new member over at Ravelry, screen name Traciene!
Stitches and Stories: Gardening
http://www.stitchesandstories.com/p/gardening.html
Welcome to the Stitches and Stories Blog, brought to you from the Sheep Shack. Well we are in the grip of a serious heat wave, and while the tomatoes enjoy a bit of heat and humidity it is a struggle to keep the garden watered. We have no rain in the forecast and the rain barrels are getting low. Still we have managed to harvest over twenty cucumbers this week, a handful of beans, and a few hot peppers, tomatoes, squash and one zucchini. It also seems to keep the rabbits away! What's in your garden?

Welcome to the Stitches and Stories Blog, brought to you from the Sheep Shack. Saturday, February 21, 2015. Don't go in for things that. Frilly and flowery. It is just always seems like "too much", but once in a while I find a style that does appeal to me. And today was just such a day. I was in Barnes and Noble. Today and found a pretty little monthly planner. There is a lot of pink, lilac, teal and gold leaf. Saturday, February 21, 2015. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I live on a farm .

Welcome to the Stitches and Stories Blog, brought to you from the Sheep Shack. Wednesday, September 4, 2013. Okay who stole my summer? But it's fall, I have a new job, with the best group of people ever. I mean that! It is like I died and went to work heaven. It is challenging without being frustrating. Time to get back to the needles!

Laugh Love Cakes
Tuesday, 6 November 2012. Even though I as born in the city, I love everything about anything country. There is not a second of my day where country music isn’t playing. My favorite pair of footwear hands down are my worn in cowboy boots and there is something about seeing a combine harvesting at the end of summer that makes my heart happy. I couldn’t of been happier with how this cake turned out and the smile on my clients face made me sure she was too! Sunday, 4 November 2012. The Teams I Call Home.

We Laugh, We Love, We Cry, That's Life. Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it is better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring". Sunday, May 23, 2010. This is my final for this semester. It was to create 3 figurines out of random cutouts from magazines and then redraw them in colored pencil. And as you can see, I had to put Lady Gaga in there. I of course put my name, my favorite quote by Kurt Cobain: "I'd rather be hated for who I am rather than loved for who I'm not." I also...

I love my girlfriend. So here goes my first post in a long time…. I’ve done seven weeks of my basic training - things started off really hard for the first two or so weeks, but once i had settled down and got into a propper routine, i started to find it a lot easier. So i guess you’re thinking that it would be a doddle on the seventh week, how very wrong you are! Everyday brings along a new challenge, more and more information is given and more and more is demanded from you! After that nothing went wrong...
