Yesterday afternoon I set out to go to a friends house to pick up red top tubes to draw blood on the goats, then the bank and the grocery store. Routine stuff, so I thought! After seeing all the babies, it is kidding season afterall, my friend mentioned needing to disbud some of them, having never seen it I offered to help. Welcome to our little home on the net. Tuesday, May 27, 2008. Meet Daffy the Duckling! Last night we aquired a duckling! Not knowing what to do with him so I could clean out his temporary house.I decided to run him a bath and put him in the tub so I could clean his cage! He was not so easy to get out of his house! He didn't know me, nor did he want to go along with anything I was doing! I didn't think to grab the camera until after the water had drained most of the way out of the tub. Links to this post.

Now as soon as I walk into the trailer Crystal is on my lap or arms or head! Then Naomi and Reba follow her! My truck decided to hate me on Saturday (1/24) and later that evening I got a call from my neighbor offering me 4 hours a day milking her 10 goats and 4 cows, cleaning the equipment, and feeding the animals.
