The Social Media Blog. Monday, December 9, 2013. Images of Women in Advertising. Ads are making women feel less powerful, because a lot of ads display women as the weaker side (example. 1st picture). Ads are using women as sex object to sell products as seen in the 2nd and 3rd image. It's slightly (sarcasm) crossing the line, don't you think? Using a slogan "NOW OPEN" and then a picture of a woman spreading her legs is just wrong in my eyes. Where has this society gotten? Images of Women in Advertising.
