So I have to admit I have been pretty rubbish at updating my blog recently so sorry about that. Since Kayaking I have had another set of holidays and been back at work for about 5 or 6 weeks. Laura Evans in New Zealand! Just another WordPress.com weblog. Skydiving in Abel Tasman June 5, 2010. 8212; laura2nz @ 9:57 am. Today me and Natalie went skydiving in Abel Tasman! I was in freefall for about 50seconds and loved it. When the parachute opened it was so peaceful and calm just floating back down to the ground. Thursday, October 1, 2009. As some of you may know, on Wednesday a series of earthquakes and a Tsunami caused devastation around the Pacific rim, mainly in Samoa, American Samoa and Sumatra. For most of the day New Zealand remained on Tsunami alert. Thankfully the waves which did eventually break on our shores were nowhere near as high as expected and minimal damage was incurred.
